NZAME is the trinity god of the Fang ethnic group in Gabon. In this design, the deity is wearing a "ngongtang" mask which depicts Nzame the god of the heavens, Mebere, the male aspect of creation and Nkwa the female aspect of creation. I drew the figure more female than androgynous, just because the idea of the deity sashaying down a heavenly runway appealed to me. The backdrop signifies the earth and the heavens.
